Title:- All You Need Is The Word!
Opening Scripture: Isaiah 55:10-11
“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11 (KJV)
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: the Word of God is the crude raw Power of God; it's by His Word that God get all things done including creation, blessing, healing and deliverance. He does miracles by His Word.
Beloved, the opening scripture gives us the picture of what the Word of God does both in our lives on daily basis. The Word of God is responsible for sending rain and snow to water the earth; it makes the earth bring forth plants to give seed to the sower or farmer and food to humanity. When God sends His Word, the Word goes to accomplish exactly the will of God (Psalms 107:20). We saw also how God sent His Word into an individual (Jacob) and the Word lighted up the nation of Israel (Isaiah 9:8). To be in touch of the sent Word of God is to be lighted up above the reach of the kingdom of darkness. The Word also prospers in the vessel that receives Him.
Dear beloved, you are born of the Word of God; hence, you are the Word of God your generation needs to prosper (John 1:13). Allow the Word of God to prosper in you and go out there to influence your generation for Jesus Christ. May you be counted upon to carry on the legacy Jesus Christ left behind.
