Title:- He Has Given You His Peace!

Opening Scripture: John 14:27 (KJV)
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 (KJV)
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: the difference in peace for the believers and nonbelievers is where the peace is acquired; the peace of the Lord does not diminish nor lead to sorrow.
We are faced with a world that is constantly challenged with more and more unrest ranging from the economic turbulence, corruption and the massive impact of the terrorism that is currently ravaging the world. The events of the 2020 global shutdown have seen health unrest, economic unrest and social unrest. Yet in the midst of this unrest is a promise Jesus made to his disciples (John 14:27) which is much needed today.
For many people, peace can mean the absence of conflict or trouble. While this is a definition of peace I don’t believe that is what Jesus was talking about here. This peace that Jesus was talking about means rest, quiet or a stillness in your heart that goes on to reflect on your daily life. It is not the absence of trouble, but it's existing in spite of trouble without hindrance and defeat. This peace pushes through all the disturbing circumstances that life can throw at you. It gives you the ability to endure and be calm even in the face of extreme turmoil. Note: this peace of the Lord doesn’t eliminate conflict or trouble, but gives you the ability to endure through it. Consider it an inner confidence that you know God will come through in whatever situation, and that removes your fear and worry and replaces it with peace ((Phil. 4:6-7). Give Him the praise!
REMEMBER THIS: the difference in peace for the believers and nonbelievers is where the peace is acquired; the peace of the Lord does not diminish nor lead to sorrow.

PRAYER POINT: Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word of illumination, for not living me and my family empty and for giving us Your peace that surpasses the understanding of the world, receive all the glory, Lord; I ask that Your own kind of peace will sweep across the nations of the earth in Jesus' Name. Amen!
DIVINE COUNSEL:
i. He is not about to give you His Peace, He has given it to you already; continue to appreciate Him and intercede for the nations of the world through the prayer points above.
ii. keep interceding for Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, The Gambia, Europe and Asia where Coronavirus has metamorphosed into something else.
BLESSINGS:
Halleluyah! the disaster that has been programmed into this season shall not see you and your loved ones. The gift of Peace that the Lord released into the world in a season such as this be made manifest in your life and destiny from today, in Jesus' mighty Name.
